January Edition to summarize what's going on in my life!
Reading: Nora Roberts - Blood Magick (Book 3 in the O'Dwyer Trilogy) Book 1 and 2 were great, easy reads. I love everything spiritual, magical, new agey and this trilogy has it all.
Loving: School holidays! Loving no set routines, sleeping in, pajama days, creating memories with my two boys.
Thinking: About all the little things I want to cross off my list this year that I would like to do around the house. Concrete the cattery, create a special courtyard just for me and hubby that opens up from our bedroom (spa, fire pit, etc), new lounge, jazz up my Girly Shed (Every man has a Man's shed right, well I have a girly shed too!), a garden around my letter box and I am sure there will be other things along the way.
Feeling: Content! On holidays, only have to work once a week for the rest of January. Can take each day as it comes with no rushing around, no set routines, no alarm clocks! Heaven Really!
Anticipating: A busy week starting Thursday with holidaying in Wollongong, Kiama, Berry and surrounding areas while visiting my Aunty, though at the same time enjoying the time spent with my Aunty, showing my little family around Wollongong, Kiama and my favourite place Berry but still all the time having no deadlines, no alarm clocks...
Inspired by: The ocean of late! I love the smell, the sea spray, the tranquility of the water, the blues, and turquiose, and aquas. I just love picking up odd unique pieces in teal to add to my home.
Watching: Every Monday night, 8:30pm - I have to watch Vikings! Glued, addicted, love it!
Sad: that some of my closest friends are dealing with heartbreaking things. Life is really very cruel and unfair sometimes.
Working: on giving this blog a good go! Capturing the ramblings that go on in my head.
Grateful: for my financial stability. I have a beautiful home, a hard working hubby, able to have the finances to send my children to Catholic Schooling and after school activities. A loving family who I adore with all of my heart.
Listening: I recently bought Ed Sheerans and Taylor Swifts latest CD's, so they have been on my latest list of music listening too.
Wishing: Summer would tone down its heat just a little and a few more cooler days with light rain. Give our beautiful country and wildlife a break from all these harsh bush fires. The days are so hot at the moment that its even too hot to go outdoors!
What are you reading, wishing, and grateful for?
